2022-2026

Working with ceramic and porcelain has allowed me to take my creativity to another level. Being able to imagine a tridimensional object that before I could only illustrate, seems to me like magic. Now, not only can I plunge into a universe of fantasy but I can bring it to my life through the creation of utilitarian objects. The following are examples of my work with porcelain, stoneware, oxides, engobes and glazes.

Patterns deepen the appreciation of art. They perpetuate the harmony of color and meaning through utilitarian objects that become ornamental thanks to their beauty. These designs come from illustrations that change completely in nature once they become patterns. Some have been made into beautiful silk scarves while others have been designed to create unique pieces of clothing.

Literature is a great source of inspiration. I illustrate to re-create what my mind has imagined after reading scenes that touch me in one way or another. Sometimes I create my own stories or my own versions of other stories I read, but other everyday experiences also serve as inspiration to my creations.
